This position is part of the Office of State and Community Energy Programs, Department of Energy. As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will be in a Supervisory role, you will serve as an expert energy technology program specialist for a wide variety of highly complex clean energy projects/programs in an assigned area within the Office and recommend solutions to program problems of an especially complex, difficult, or sensitive nature.

  • You will be required to complete a supervisory probationary period (if not yet completed previously).

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-14 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: 1. Analyze the impact of new and proposed legislation, Executive Orders, and other regulations on the assigned programs; AND 2. Plans, forecasts, requests and provides justification as to the priority, relevance, and criticality for program/project equipment, supplies and other resources and stresses the necessity, importance, and consequences of not receiving the necessary funding; AND 3. Supervise and coordinates the work of subordinates. Identifies employee development and training requirements and initiates appropriate action such as Individual Development Plans to ensure the skill requirements are met. Time-in-Grade: Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement to receive consideration. You must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
