This position is located in the Research Analysis & Intelligence Dissemination Directorate (RAID) of Defense Technology Security Administration (DTSA). DTSA is a Department of Defense (DOD) Field Activity under the authority, direction, and control of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy (USD(P)). DTSA establishes DOD technology security policies related to services, and technologies.
Duties
Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following:
Serves as principal advisor to the Director, Defense Technology Security Administration (DTSA) for all matters dealing with organizational security issues.
Develops, tests, and implements procedures to disseminate time-sensitive terrorist threat information during duty and non-duty hours and to all personnel, including those TDY.
Coordinates, implements, and monitors AT training program for the command.
Coordinates with PFPA, OSD(P), and DoD AT program officers and local emergency officials in the planning and preparation of AT exercises or incident response.
Assists in developing guidelines and recommendations for FPCON condition levels, and monitors compliance with all reporting and implementation procedures.
Requirements

- This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

- This is a covered position and the person selected for this position must complete an OGE Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment pursuant to 5 CFR 2634.903(b) (DoD 5500.7).

Time in Grade:
For entry at the GS-12 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher grade in the Federal Service.
Specialized Experience:
For the GS-12, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-11 if outside the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience in applying a wide range of security concepts, principles, and practices to include but not limited to: Personnel, Physical, Information Assurance, and Industrial Program Security.
Time in Grade:
For entry at the GS-13 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-12 or higher grade in the Federal Service.
Specialized Experience:
For the GS-13, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-12 if outside the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience reviewing, analyzing, and resolving security problems; and assisting in the development of guidelines and implementing security procedures.
Time in Grade:
For entry at the GS-14 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-13 or higher grade in the Federal Service.
Specialized Experience:
For the GS-14, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-13 if outside the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience reviewing, analyzing, and resolving security problems; conducting foreign country assessments and briefings; and developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirements, qualified applicants must also possess the quality of experience as it relates to how closely or to what extent an applicant's background, recency of experience, education, and training are relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the announced position. Candidates must clearly demonstrate the possession of competencies necessary to successfully perform the work of the position at the appropriate level to be qualified for the position. Education
