Duties

You will serve as a functional lead for the Procurement Requisition Branch. You will work directly with the 1071 Branch Head to ensure proper physical inventory accountability is attained through the procurement process. You will work with Division, Warfare Center, and NAVSEA leadership on procurement policies and procedures. You will lead small project teams to ensure policy/process changes are implemented across the Property Management Division. You will generate metrics and reports for command leadership to ensure proper execution of material procurements. You will provide technical advice and guidance in the areas of Property Management functionality and internal control systems. You will generate guidance material and provide functional training to the Property Management Division and customers.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying material or asset management policies and processes to plan, implement and maintain procurement requirements for an organization.
