Telecommunications Integrated Services (TIS) organization is responsible for implementing acquisition, integration, deployment, and execution management for modernization of the telecommunications infrastructure supporting services in the National Airspace System (NAS).

Duties

This organization leads cross-organizational efforts to keep critical sustainment programs on track, develop and deploy telecommunications services, and implement an innovative acquisition strategy for the FAA Enterprise Network Services (FENS) Program. Candidates selected under this job announcement may be realigned to this new telecommunications organization.

Qualifications

IN ADDITION TO MEETING THE BASIC EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS BELOW:To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-I, FG/GS-13 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE IS DEFINED AS:Experience formulating, executing, and presenting budgetsORExperience planning, scheduling, and tracking projects, tasks, milestones, and goalsORExperience providing contract packages such as statement of work, cost estimate, sole source justification, and other contracting documentation; monitoring contract performance, ensuring vendor deliverables are tracked, meet expectations, and payments of invoices are made in a timely manner.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
