The position is located within a Program Office under the Security and Hazardous Materials Safety (ASH) organization. The mission of ASH is to ensure aviation safety, support national security, and promote an efficient airspace system through the development and administration of policies and programs.
Duties
The incumbent performs multiple and varying assignments under the limited direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Acts as an individual contributor and/or team member and may perform some leadership functions for small projects/programs or other work activities. Serves as an analyst supporting the staffing, recruitment, training, travel, position management and other administrative activities of an assigned Program Office. Identifies and informs the Director or Deputy of matters that require his/her attention. Assignments frequently require knowledge and experience working across functional and/or organizational lines.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- Designated or Random Drug Testing required.
- This job may require 20% or less travel (Domestic Only).
Qualifications
FV-H: To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-G, FG/GS-10/11 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
