Duties
The PMO provides program and acquisition management for systems and capabilities that modernize and sustain the National Airspace System (NAS) to advance NAS programs from concept to operation while providing technical support for air traffic control automation and decision support systems. The SWIM PO is at the forefront of revolutionizing air traffic management. As a dynamic and innovative team, the SWIM PO plays a pivotal role in advancing the integration of cutting-edge technologies to enhance the efficiency, safety, and reliability of the NAS. This team is part of a collaborative environment where contributions will shape the future of air traffic management.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-I or FG/GS-13 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized Experience is defined as:Experience applying Earned Value Management (EVM) or other evaluative methods to analyze cost, schedule and performance and make recommendations to address variances.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
