Duties

Serves as principal quality assurance representative and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) with responsibility for technical administration, inspection, control and acceptance of assigned work performed under construction contracts. Interprets plans and specifications; determines acceptable trade techniques when alternatives are required due to a lack of specifics in the plans; recommends changes in matters relative to adequacy of equipment and labor skills. Daily inspects materials, equipment, work methods, practices, and progress. Verifies that material and equipment are as previously approved.

Requirements

• Applicant must obtain and maintain a favorable result from a Criminal History Background Check.
• Incumbent must obtain and maintain a valid state motor vehicle operator license to permit operation of motor vehicles in the performance of duties.
