About the Position: This position is located in the Office of the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Army (OAASA), Staff Action Control Office (SACO).

Duties

Provide direct support for the control and processing of incoming correspondence. Ensure proper handling and flow of correspondence. Monitor the timing and sequence on suspense actions in various stages of completion. Provide administrative and technical advice and assistance to organization executive directors, division/branch chiefs and other personnel. Respond to inquiries from action officers on a variety of subjects as to the status of suspense actions and request of extension of suspense dates. Operate a variety of automated systems, with various software programs, to aide in the classification, retention, storage, retrieval, and automated staff action suspense control system of the Army's records. Type accurately and follows established procedures exactly to prevent errors or delays in retrieval of records.

  • Must be able to type 40 WPM
