You will serve as an EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT in the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (DASN) of ASN RDA WASHINGTON DC.
Duties
You will provide established guidance and/ or acquisition advice to staff analyst concerning problems.
You will implement various administrative directives/ policies for organization the organization.
You will develop streamlined methods of operation to support office automation tasks.
You will use Microsoft Office programs - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc to update, edit, and revise a variety of documents, forms, automated records, and databases.
You will operate personal computers, electronic typewriters, word processors, and related equipment such as printers, scanners, and facsimile machines.
You will recommend changes in administrative policies, devise and install procedures and office practices affecting subordinate organizations, and foresee administrative problems and requirements.
Requirements

- This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
NK-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band (NK-02) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience evaluating and interpreting policies to recommend change;
Experience using office automation software to draft reports, edit documents, and update files; and
Experience conducting studies and projects providing guidance or acquisition advice to staff.
