About the Position: Serves as Senior Management Analyst responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and monitoring military and civilian manpower authorizations for Acquisition Support Center (ASC) to include Program Executive Officers (PEO) and Project Managers (PM).
This position is in the NH-03 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS-12 grade Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS-13 grade step 10 in the broadband.
Duties
Evaluates and monitors the assignment and utilization of military and civilian manpower spaces.
Implements AAE manpower policies and procedural guides.
Researches, prepares, and submits for HQDA approval, staff correspondence and supporting statistical data/justification requesting HQDA allocation of manpower needed to accomplish mission.
Maintains an audit trail of manpower allocations, transfers and increases/decrements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Coordinating a wide range of functions that may include all or some of the functions of management, security, training, budget, and civilian personnel matters; (2) Compile data/statistics for various program reports to consolidate reports for the program; (3) Apply a broad knowledge of principles and practices to provide technical services on overall mission. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
