This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Deputy Commandant for Mission Support, Assistant Commandant for Acquisition (CG-9), Director of Acquisition Services (CG-92), Office of International Acquisition Programs (CG-922), Washington, DC.
Duties
You will be responsible for managing the core business and financial management functions for successfully acquiring and delivering new assets and improving existing assets on behalf of foreign partners.

Qualifications
To be considered at the GS-12 level: Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the knowledge, skill and ability to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
For this position, specialized experience includes performing budget and financial activities; maintaining an integrated system of financial management activities and operations including budgeting, executing, financial cost analysis; developing cost estimates for funding requirements; participating in budget execution functions pertaining to funds execution, financial reporting, program/project/activity analyses; and providing recommendations to supervisor and advising on the financial status of programs.
To be considered at the GS-13 level: Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the knowledge, skill and ability to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
For this position, specialized experience includes performing budget and financial activities; developing, coordinating, and maintaining an integrated system of financial management activities and operations including budgeting, executing, financial cost analysis; developing cost estimates for funding requirements; overseeing budget execution functions pertaining to funds execution, financial reporting, program/project/activity analyses; briefing senior managers on the status of funds and budget resources for their use in decision; and providing recommendations to management and advising on the financial status of programs

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.The Office of Personnel management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.
