You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Plans and Programs Division (SP10) Management Support Services Branch (SP16) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.
Duties
You will serve as a DTS expert and staff advisor to management in evaluating the effectiveness of government programs and operations and productivity and efficiency of administrative management.
You will generate, format, analyze and disseminate various reports to include tables, charts and graphs to effectively communicate data output in a clear and concise method.
You will interpret and define specific travel policy, law and or regulation for the purpose of providing training and information that may include making recommendations to all management levels of SSP Headquarters and field activities.
You will initiate, maintain, monitor, and analyze monthly SSP travel data on expenditures, advance of funds, transportation modes, travel purposes, fund collections, and claim submissions.
You will provide training to SSP Personnel on issues and policy related to travel, close-out and cross over FY information and coordinate training information with Comptroller's POC as appropriate.
You will prepare briefings and training as needed or as directed, based on traveler and user feedback, audits relating to information in the foreign travel process.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
FOR THE NH-03:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NH-02 (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing Defense Travel System Management, Operations and Database administration, understanding and interpreting the processes, Policies, Regulations and procedures related to the operation of DTS, and Foreign Travel requirements (e.g., Foreign Clearance Guide, APACS, etc.).
FOR THE NH-02:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least three years of general experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least NH-01 (GS-4) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: serving as a defense travel administrator to include managing the Defense Travel System, Policy, Personnel, in processing/out processing, and maintenance of a travel system.

- successful completion of a four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree; -OR-
