Duties

Establishes and promulgates MACOM policies and procedures regarding development and coordination of annual nonstandard, standard, Title X, and training ammunition requirements for all United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC). Develops operational requirements outlining requirement and procurement objective for ammunition to support the USASOC. Develops ammunition requirements to meet operational and training requirements through research, testing, evaluation and ultimately procurement. Assists subordinate units and MACOM staff in establishing the standard ammunition budget, funding for transporting ammunition and demilitarization of obsolete munitions.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Preparing, documenting and tracking ammunition authorizations/allocations and expenditures using the Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS) and other munitions related management systems. Analyzing ammunition requirements; Coordinating with installations and Depots for transportation, issue of training, operational and combat load ammunition. Managing procurement of ammunitions; Conducting oversight and compliance inspections and Maintaining Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions.
