About the Position: This position is located in the U.S. Army Engineer School, Office of the Commandant, Fort Leonard Wood, MO.
Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, bordering Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2-hour drive east and Springfield is a 1-hour drive west of Fort Leonard Wood.
Duties
Provide input to the TRADOC Management Engineering Activity (TRAMEA) for development.
Develop Career Map information based on analysis for each MOS, in accordance with ADDIE Process requirements.
Coordinate design process to translate analysis data into a structure or blueprint for professional development models.
Conduct comprehensive staff studies.
Maintain an audit trail that includes documentation to support the decisions made and actions taken for each phase of the process.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must possess or obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license, and any installation, DOD and/or Federal license or certification required for vehicle operated.
- This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction, which includes: administering a training program; development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results; and working in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular basis. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. with a major study in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. with a major study in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.) beyond in the federal service (GS-09).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
