About the Position: Serves as a Management Analyst, Army Civilian Career Management Activity (ACCMA).
The preferred duty location is Fort Belvoir, VA. Management may approve remote work at the time of selection for well-qualified candidates. If the selectee is located within the preferred duty location, they will be expected to report to the duty location at least twice a pay period.
Duties
Provides resolutions to problems and issues related to assigned programs and projects.
Executes program management, analysis, and project management responsibilities in support of the Army People Strategy.
Advises leadership on areas of Army and organizational emphasis, critical trend analysis, and necessary program adjustments that are normally accepted without significant change.
Develops briefings to market employment opportunities in the Army at academic institutions, professional associations, job fairs, and other venues.
Manages research studies and analysis to synthesize and interpret results in order to make recommendations, develop guidance, and adjust programs.
Serves as a process and team facilitator to analyze models to determine trends and requirements for the formulation and development of primary and alternative plans, policies and milestones.
Utilize analytical methodologies to collect, assess, and interpret data, facilitating informed decision-making and drawing conclusive insights.

- Appointment to this position is subject to a two year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

Specialized Experience: One year specialized experience that includes conducting research and analysis on the effectiveness of talent acquisition programs; recommending strategies to improve opportunities to hire, develop, and retain highly-qualified and diverse talent; preparing reports and informational briefings to inform senior leaders on program initiatives. The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
