Duties
You will analyze data requirements and the implementation of large scale and complex data projects and their associated requirements and risks.
You will assist in the coordination and management of overall Cloud database resources.
You will provide IT project coordination duties including the development of short and long-term project plans and analysis of proposed enhancements.
You will establish strategies to ensure uninterrupted database communication and data flow between the USMC and external agencies.
You will lead, plan, and coordinate the installation, testing, operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of database software solutions to ensure the availability and functionality of Manpower IT systems.
You will evaluate the operational impacts of cyber-based actions and policies.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: provide technical advice, counsel, and instruction on any issues.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: consulting with senior specialists and IT managers throughout the agency in the implementation of process improvement practices.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: applying communicative techniques to effectively and diplomatically interact with internal and external customers.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: applying regulations, other official guidance and principles, including the latest procedures and techniques sufficient to oversee the planning, development and implementation of the program.
In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing, identifying, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of information technology operations, Manpower IT databases, information security policies, and technologies throughout the organization.
