Duties
Analyze hazards and vulnerabilities to develop appropriate response plans.
You will conduct annual Physical Security surveys and assessments to determine needed improvements.
You will administer a security education program encompassing security crime prevention, Anti-Terrorism, Force Protection, and local threat conditions for the organization.
You will brief higher authorities on the currency and accuracy of program security and analysis of program patterns and trends potentially affecting security postures.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, coordinating, and assessing exercises with a program in place to analyze exercise results to promote lessons learned and best practices; 2) Speaking to large groups and to senior executive level personnel; 3) Managing multiple database programs consisting of the entry, tracking, updating, resourcing, and mitigating actions taken for identified personnel and installation vulnerabilities; 4) Adapting analytical techniques and evaluating criteria to measure and improve program effectiveness and organization productivity; and 5) Demonstrating knowledge of major issues, program goals and objectives, work processes, and administrative operations regarding Force Protection elements.

Education
The following education may be substituted in lieu of specialized experience:
Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;
OR
equivalent doctoral degree;
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree;
OR
LL.M., if related.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience are qualifying for this position.
