About the Position: Serves as a Financial Specialist in the Finance and Accounting Division, GS, US Army Cadet Command.

Duties

Maintain all Centrally Billed Account (CBA) Cards. Reviews customer entitlements, contract fares with associated rates and routes. Initiate collection procedures for overcharges and unauthorized services. Uses Automated Travel System.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
  • Employment is subject to a one-year probationary period.
  • Employee must obtain and maintain Department of Defense Financial Management Certification Level 1 within 2 years of employment.

1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement. (Must provide transcripts)
