About the Position: Serves as Garrison Resource Management Officer for a medium or large multi-mission military installation.
Duties
Serve as Garrison Resource Management Officer for a medium or large multi-mission military installation.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Serve as principal advisor and technical expert to the commander and key staff members on financial management activities.
Responsible for the continued development, coordination, and evaluation of an effective integrated resource management program that maintain balance and perspective between the various financial systems.
Provide leadership, direction, and coordination of Garrison resource management programs and activities.
Through subordinates, supervisor assign, direct, and evaluate work of the subordinate organizational elements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I USOGE, 6/08).
- Must obtain/maintain a Financial Management Level 3 Certification within the the required time - if not obtained and/or maintained - incumbent will be subject to adverse actions
- A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- This position is designated as Emergency-Essential (E-E).
- This position requires a SECRET security clearance.
