As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.Serves as Assistant Manager for the Office of Airports (ARP), Texas (TX) Airports District Office (ADO) in the Southwest Region.
Duties
The ADO Manager is responsible for an ADO that includes 181 S/M/L hub airports. This responsibility includes 210 Federally funded airports throughout Texas including more than 29 Part 139 certified airports.

- Designated or Random Drug Testing required.

Qualifications
Candidates must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level (FV-J or FG/GS-14) that is typically in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform in this position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE may include, but is not limited to:• Experience in leadership and providing direction to others and/or establishing common goals.
• Experience promoting teamwork.
• Experience in promoting airport safety.
• Experience in collaborative analysis of technical information for projects crossing multiple technical and operational disciplines or organizational lines of business.
