About the Position: Fort Stewart/Hunter AAF is a southern living station of choice with great climate, easy commuting, no parking fees, good schools, and many surrounding historic sites.
Duties
Dispose and/or direct disposal of records in accordance with established procedures.
Update and order publications and forms as required.
Assume secretarial duties in absence of senior leader’s secretary employee.
Serve as point of contact for preparation of Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) orders.
Utilize computer hardware and/or software to maintain correspondence.
Consolidate program input to formulate data as assigned.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Background Investigation is required.
- Temporary duty travel of 5% may be required,
- Probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Performing office administrative and/or clerical functions on automated system for an organization; reviewing documents for accuracy and compliance within applicable regulations/policies; and conducting research to collect data for special and one-time reports independently. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05)
TYPING REQUIREMENT: This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5 minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
