These positions are located in the Eastern Customer Services organization (PSE) and Western Customer Services (PSW) of Northwest Requirements Marketing (PS), Power Services (P), Bonneville Power Administration (BPA).
A successful candidate in the Public Utilities Specialist position will serve as a Customer Account Executives (AEs) and as a technical authority, technical lead, and expert advisor on all laws, policies, standards, directives, and guidelines.
Duties
As a Public Utilities Specialist, you will serve as a Customer Account Executives and as a technical authority and expert advisor on all laws, policies, standards, directives, and guidelines governing business relationships for NW Public Power, DSI, and IOU customers. Is responsible for sales volume, revenue, overall financial return objectives, and overall achievement of customer satisfaction for assigned customers; stakeholder outreach; and coordination among BPA offices and other Federal Agencies.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience is defined as: 1) negotiating and implementing long term agreements and related contracts for the sale of utility services (e.g. electric, water, gas, communications) or similarly complex bulk commodities marketed to other businesses in a highly regulated environment, and 2) conduct economic and financial analysis to support implementation of contracts and policies.
