About the Position: Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) provides global contracting support to a diverse customer base in support of the Joint Warfighter.
Duties
Provide advice to management on manpower, organization structure and Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) documentation.
Evaluate and recommend TDA manpower management improvement strategies.
Analyze manpower data from a wide variety of source materials.
Conduct TDA manpower studies and surveys
Interpret personnel/position management guidelines, regulations, and policies.
Prepares a variety of briefing material to higher levels of management to review.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.

Specialized Experience at the GS-12 Level: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Experience analyzing program manpower data; (2) Utilizing an automated budget/financial system to manage program requirements; (3) Participating in program management activities to improve the organization structures and processes; AND (4) Assisting in preparing briefings materials to review program performance with management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Specialized Experience at the GS-13 Level: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Conducting manpower studies to provide advisory services; 2) Maintaining the organization's manning documents such as Table of Distribution Allowances (TDA); 3) Advising management on a wide range of staffing issues; AND (4) Experience supporting budget planning justification and program objectives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
