About the Position: Serve as a Regional and/or Crisis Planner and technical logistics expert for the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) and develops program policy, monitors operations, and manages the Management Decision Evaluation Package for the LOGCAP.
Duties
Evaluate Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) operations consisting of different types of contracting capability to support deployed forces during contingency operations.
Develop organizational information criteria to measure the effectiveness of Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) functions and capabilities.
Provide technical and operational guidance on program status, problem areas, operations resources, and training requirements to improve programs.
Review logistics readiness sustainment reports to resolve problem areas.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position requires temporary duty (TDY) business travel approximately 30% of the time.
- Position requires a valid driver's license.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Certification within 48 months of entrance on duty.
- This position has a requirement to lift up to 40 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
- The incumbent is required a medical examination required prior to hiring and annually thereafter. The incumbent must complete SF78, (Certificate of Medical Examination), for the position at overseas/deployed location.
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Passport
- This position is designated as Emergency Essential (EE) to support the Command's mobilization and wartime mission during periods of increasing tension and mobilization.
- The incumbent must sign DD Form 2365(DoD Civilian Employee Overseas Emergency - Essential Position Agreement).
