You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (CLASSIFICATION/RECRUITMENT) in the COMMAND OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT, HUMAN CAPITAL DIVISION of NV AIR TECHNICAL DATA AND ENGRG SVC. If selected, your salary will be set as follows: GS-11: $82,633 - $107,421 GS-12: $99, 044 - $128,752

Duties

You will work with the management to design, develop, implement and track both activity and HR strategic/business plans to recruit, develop and retain the talent needed to accomplish the assigned mission. You will review past recruitment practices and local labor market conditions to advise on future staffing strategies. You will provide strategic recruitment advisory services (i.e., determining the where, how and means to find talent) to management officials. You will apply a thorough understanding of classification principles and concepts to interpret and apply classification standards/guides to reach sound classification decisions. You will analyze, develop and administer organizational design and position management to enhance the efficiency and performance of organizations. You will provide advice on the establishment of positions and the ramifications of classification actions.

Requirements

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: For GS-11: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) in the federal service or equivalent experience 1) Serve as a personnel/human resource advisory service to management in areas such as policies, classification, staffing/recruitment, compensation or drug-free workplace and 2) and participating in recruitment fairs. For GS-12: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) in the federal service or equivalent experience 1) Serve as a personnel/human resource advisory service to management in areas such as policies, classification, staffing/recruitment, compensation or drug-free workplace; 2) Establishing guidance and policies for human resource program to solve complex problems to improve programs; and 3) and participating in recruitment fairs. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: For the GS-11 you may also qualify based on:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree.
or
LL.M., if related

or

A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
