About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL just off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.
Duties
Utilize automated programs at the production maintenance supervisor level.
Develop performance standards, counsel employees on performance, and makes formal and informal performance appraisals.
Identify employees' training needs, and initiates recommendations to provide necessary training.

Explain work requirements, methods, and procedures to the assigned employee.
Ensure that subordinates are adequately informed of their responsibilities concerning hazardous material waste with the work area.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an HEAVY MOBILE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC SUPERVISOR without more than normal supervision. I have the ability to perform common duties of a Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic Supervisor. I can serve as a technical and administrative supervisor in the Directorate of Production, exercising full supervisory responsibility over work operations associated with general mechanical work in connection with the repair, rebuild, overhaul and modification of a variety of combat tactical vehicles and/or combat vehicle components and/or secondary items such as various fuel and electrical assemblies/subassemblies for combat and tactical vehicles. I supervise workers directly or through subordinate leaders and supervisors to accomplish the work of the organization.
