You will serve as a ADMININSTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY/SPAWAR SYSTEMS COMMAND of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

Duties

You will serve as a COR and maintain files with all required documentation, and Identify/prevent unethical conduct and instances of fraud, waste or abuse. You will monitor and report on various non-technical items (e.g., handle security issues, and DD 254s, attend meetings, monitor contract capacity). You will complete Contract Performance Assessment Report System (CPARS) and Informal Contractor Performance Assessments Reports (IPARS) documentation (i.e., inputting the COR assessment into CPARS and IPARS). You will use written and oral communication skills to effectively interface across the division with management and technical personnel. you will provide technical advice to stakeholders for resolving contract discrepancies and performance issues, and give input on processes to ensure business operations are effective and efficient in order to meet mission requirements.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or NO-3 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing assignments as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for shore and afloat C4I installations, modernization and administrative support contracts that may be classified up to SECRET security level.
