Duties

Formulate goals, plans, policies, procedures, and work plans supporting the development and execution of the Audit Readiness program. Plan, organize, and oversee all program and project management activities related to Audit Readiness. Apply accounting practices, methods, and procedures in the examination and analysis of regulations, laws, directives, ledgers, journals, accounts, and related transactions. Provide advice on accounting system functions, ensuring compliance with the organization’s business needs through analysis of detailed records and system operational information. Establish oversight for the implementation of internal controls and sustainment efforts throughout the organizational functional areas. Prepare briefings on status of major program milestones, accomplishments, and issues.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires a security background investigation.
  • This position may require up to 10% TDY/Travel.
  • Position requires DoD Financial Management (FM) Certification Level 2 within24 months from date of hire and 60 hours of Continuing Education and Training every 2 years thereafter.
