You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Corporate Operations Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD.
Duties
You will support the review and analyzation procurement requirements for internal and external customers in major Programs.
You will learn the appropriate and compliant procurement vehicle which conforms to requirements, which may include Government Purchase Cards, MILSTRIP and Contracts.
You will become familiar with the life-cycle procurement process to include Material Screening, ITPR Coordination, PR Creation and Buying actions, DLR Processing, Discrepancy Reporting, and DRMO Requisitioning.
You will assist customers with completing the necessary procurement documentation and ensure audit readiness.
You will hold a Government Purchase Card and be responsible for reconciliation each month or provide direct support to a card holder.
You will be trained in completing all necessary ERP and applicable system transactions..
You will review and adhere to business rules and practices.
You will follow process and aid in identifying system and process inefficiencies.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band (NT-01) or grade level (GS-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing procurement requirements for internal or external customers to ensure compliance and facilitate the procurement lifecycle in order to streamline processes and identify inefficiencies.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
