You will serve as a Management Analyst in the G-1 Training Command of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.
Duties
You will serve as a Training Command Civilian Personnel Liaison Coordinator for personnel issues and provide advisory service to staff officers and subordinate commands.
You will provide referral services to appropriate personnel for matters related to employee labor relations, payroll, and benefits.
Plan and conduct management analyses on manpower utilization and resources.
You will prepare all internal and external documentation necessary to execute hiring actions.
You will review performance appraisals.
You will gather, analyze and evaluate information concerning civilian personnel processes and will interpret and analyze a variety of statistical data.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
GS-09
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing advisory services, planning and conducting management analyses on manpower utilization, and reviewing and analyzing documentation of administrative procedures.
GS-07
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating civilian actions for subordinate commands, executing personnel matters (e.g. position descriptions, performance plans, appraisals), and identifying administrative issues.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-09
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
GS-07
1 full year of graduate level education
or
superior academic achievement
