You will serve as the Department Principle Logistician in the Integrated Product Support (IPS) and Logistics Branch of Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA).
Duties
You will serve as the Fleet Readiness Department Principle Logistician providing leadership and management skills in planning, implementing and executing strategic products for Integrated Product Support (IPS).
You will serve as the Department Champion for the transition to Model Based Product Support (MBPS) as part of the OPNAV Logistics Transformation.
You will oversee department processes for undersea warfare / combat weapon systems and weapons acquisition logistics and integrated product support across system and platform life cycles
You will represent the Department for IPS and logistics related data calls, program reviews and logistics support briefs including providing overall coordination with external entities, such as Program Offices, DLA, NAVSUP, and other Warfare Centers.
You will identify Department logistics competency training needs and coordinate/facilitate Department unique IPS training.
You will assist in formulating policies regarding IPS through workload planning, supportability analysis, and life cycle sustainment requirements to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.
You will be the Functional Area Manager for the Logistics Naval Acquisition Development Program (NADP).
You will act as home site supervisor and coordinate with the Naval Acquisition Career Center (NACC) and the NAVSEA HQ NADP Program Manager and Logistics Competency Lead.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Work may also include lifting of moderately heavy items weighing less than 50 pounds (i.e., 23 kilograms), such as equipment.
- Work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, or recurring and considerable walking, stooping, bending, crouching, and climbing to observe and study work operations in an industrial, storage, or comparable work area.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative oversight or leadership in the acquisition of Life-Cycle Logistics operations for an organization or program.
