You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the UNDERSEA WARFARE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DIVISION within the FLEET READINESS DEPARTMENT of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.

Duties

You will serve as a NUWCDIVKPT Senior Technical Representative for Logistics to the assigned program office and will be a Project Lead for various projects designated by the Program Manager or Project Manager. You will provide project leadership, oversight and direction for the work assigned to the various Project Managers within the program office, all under the oversight and direction of the PEO-SUB Program Manager. You will work with Project Managers and the Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) to track funding status across designated projects for technical execution as established in project plans or equivalent. You will review overall cost, schedule and performance monitoring and reporting for the designated technical output area and reports status and project performance health metrics to the responsible Project Manager. You will serve as a liaison between the program office and NUWCDIVKPT on related matters, and interfaces extensively with the NUWCDIVKPT Technical Project Managers and the Customer Advocate organization. You will plan and coordinate projects requiring innovation and originality in developing schedules, procedures, funding allocation, progress and reporting methods, and efficient application of technical equipment and personnel.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing logistic support requirements to coordinate and recommend problem resolution for an undersea system.
