You will serve as a senior Logistics Management Specialist in the Undersea and Combat Systems Weapons Logistics Support Branch, Undersea Weapons Department at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA).

Duties

You will support Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) resourcing tasks and provide ILS inputs to budgeting processes. You will manage ILS tasks executed locally, or by element managers (i.e., Configuration Managers, Supply/Inventory Manger, etc.) ensuring deliverables meet program requirements. You will collaborate with managers and leadership to set priorities and establish deadlines for the development of ILS deliverables or products. You will analyze data for the purpose of determining support requirements to establish the relationship between the support system and the material system. You will provide input to adjust the support strategy based on system engineering changes and ensure transition of system from design development, through production, and into sustainment. You will develop technical data packages and recommendations of contractor capabilities and subsequent contract award are performed. You will create, develop and review planning documents such as technical data plans, advanced procurement plans, and other logistics requirements.

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing integrated logistics support of weapons systems and equipment analysis to ensure logistics management support for weapons systems, equipment or mission.
