About the Position: This Operations Specialist position is located at White Sands Missile Range Commanding General G3 with duty location of White Sands Missile Range, NM. (merit)

Duties

Serves as the G-3, Operations Specialist with the US Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) located at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico. Responsible for advising and providing guidance to the G-3 in the development, review, analysis, and evaluation of the effectiveness of WSMR modified or existing programs, operations, facilities, organization, and force structure. Serves as the Directorate point of contact on administrative matters by accomplishing, revising or reviewing reports, studies, concurrence and other correspondence exiting the Directorate. Serves as the primary Action Officer responsible for developing or updating policies or regulations Provides advice to the Commanding General and Command Sergeant Major, ATEC on all ceremonies in support of ATEC WSMR and United States Army Garrison-WSMR (USAG-WSMR) to include each tenant unit for various ceremonies within the WSMR Region.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) may be required 25% of the time.
