DON Recent Graduates Program You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Strategy and Future Requirements (N5) Department of Headquarters, Naval District Washington.

Duties

You will coordinate and facilitate any substantive data collection and follow-on analysis. You will assist in collecting and tracking performance measures data sets, packaging analysis for leadership to manage. You will participate on boards and committees to study and recommend changes or innovations. You will perform process, design, re-engineering, and business case analysis for activity based costing, activity based management, strategic performance management resources allocations, and performance based budgeting efforts. You will ensure compatibility among acquisition, planning, and management activities, and initiatives and strategies.

Qualifications

For the GS-11 position: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applies management principles and techniques when assisting with planning and management of multiple business programs; 2) Applies evaluative methods, tools, and techniques when assisting with studies concerning the efficiency/effectiveness of program operations; and 3) Develops spreadsheets, databases, and slide presentation software in support of financial/performance analysis. For the GS-09 position: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applies management principles and techniques when assisting with planning and management of a business program; 2) Applies evaluative methods, tools, and techniques when assisting with studies concerning the efficiency/effectiveness of program operations; and 3) Updates spreadsheets, databases, and slide presentation software in support of financial/performance analysis.
