These positions are located in the Division of Resolutions and Receiverships, Dallas, TX or Washington, DC offices of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support of accounting work related to resolutions and receiverships. A total of 2 vacancies can be filled in either the Dallas, TX or Washington, DC locations.   Additional selections may be made from this vacancy announcement to fill identical vacancies that occur subsequent to this announcement.

Qualifications

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional qualifications information can be found here. To qualify at the CG-04 level: You must have completed 2 full academic years of post-high school study or an associate's degree. OR  Have 1 year of general work experience. OR  Have a combination of both education and general work experience. To qualify at the CG-05 level: You must have completed 4 academic years of post-high school leading to a bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree. OR  Have 1 year of specialized experience. Specialized Experience is experience reviewing and analyzing financial data to generate management and financial reports. OR  Have a combination of both education and specialized experience.
