About the Position: This position is located with the National Guard Bureau Joint Staff, NGB-J1, Manpower and Personnel Directorate, Arlington, Virginia. About the Surrounding Area: Situated in Northern Virginia on the south bank of the Potomac River directly across from Washington D.C. Arlington is headquarters to many departments and agencies of the federal government, including the Department of Defense and is the location of many national memorials and museums.

Duties

Manage and execute the Soldier and Family Readiness Programs to the 50 States and Territories. Serve as subject matter expert for analysis of Family Readiness programs and for integration of Family Readiness with multi-disciplinary elements Human Resources vision. Allocate and execute over a $50 million dollar budget to conduct family readiness, financial readiness, outreach and program accreditation/certification programs and services. Supervise work within the Family Readiness Section, including military and Federal civilian personnel.
