Serves as the Supervisory IT Specialist (PLCYPLN) in a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) HQ location. The primary purpose of this position is to manage information resources, business relationships, and information technology (IT) programs in support of DeCA's business mission and goals.

Organization and coordination of key stakeholders.
Managing direct reports, business partners, and external vendors in meeting the Agency's mission, goals, and objectives.
Ensure appropriate process, reporting, and performance control to optimize organizational results.

Requirements

Qualifications
You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series 2210 and additional requirements by the announcement closing date. Your resume must clearly show that you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-13. Experience can be under other Federal service pay systems, private sector, or military.
Examples of qualifying specialized experience include:
Research trends and patterns; develop new methods and criteria: and/or propose new policies and practices.
Design, develop, and manage systems that meet current and future business requirements; manage assigned projects, and prepare and present briefings to senior management officials on complex/controversial issues.
Manage projects and implements solutions based on cost, schedule, and performance metrics, ensuring enterprise architecture, data management, cybersecurity, risk management and records management compliance.
You will receive credit for all relevant qualifying experience (paid and unpaid), including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
Additional Requirements that must be met by the closing date:
Time-in-grade applies to the promotion of current and former federal employees who hold or have held a permanent GS position in either the competitive or excepted service in the previous 52 weeks, including current employees applying under VEOA. For GS-14: You must have 52 weeks of Federal service at or equivalent to GS-13.
Time after competitive appointment.
