You will serve as a Security Assistant in the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast Command Operations Department of
FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will correct automated database information to ensure that the appropriate level of access has been granted.
You will enter data into security forces database (e.g., issuance to assure eligibility, entry to the designated area are identified)
You will coordinate with supply warehouses or manufacturers to expedite the delivery of urgently needed items.
You will compose documentation for supervisor's signature which may include correspondence, reports, charts, messages, technical papers, or briefing presentations.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using established inspection criteria, inspecting facilities and reporting findings to the Physical Security Manager and making recommendation for changes. 2) Advising security personnel, employees and management officials on matters requiring clear out explanation of regulations and procedures; 3) Conducting employee/supervisory training to other employees. 4) Issuing access control badges including Controlled Access Cards (CAC) and Depot Identification badges and vehicle decals; 5) Inputting data and updating databases for parking, key control, badges/decal and mission, lost stolen or recovered government property; 6) Ordering and maintaining supplies in accordance with local policies and higher directives; 7) Serving as a member of an emergency operations team.
