Management Analyst supports project administration, crafts reports and communications, drafts administrative responses, offers project management aid, engages in meetings, develops program goals, conducts efficiency studies, recommends solutions for issues, and handles administrative tasks like document editing and data entry.

Qualifications

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.To qualify for the Grade 12, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-11 it must include: Experience with participating in meetings, workshops, conferences, and similar activities, and developing and coordinating a variety of basic/routine reports, staff actions, correspondence, program briefings, and other related actions. Experience working independently performing assigned projects which may include management studies, work process reviews, and implements process improvements, and conducting a continuing array of studies and analyses to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative operations within the department. Experience with Identifying actual or potential problems, trends, significant management or program deficiencies, areas of imbalance, and recommends corrective measures/actions to Senior staff members and assisting in monitoring status of accomplishments against established schedules and on occasion is tasked to identify anticipated problem areas and initiate simple corrective actions. Technical Credibility - Understands and appropriately applies principles, procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies related to specialized expertise. Team Building - Inspires and fosters team commitment, spirit, pride, and trust. Facilitates cooperation and motivates team members to accomplish group goals.
