Duties

Responsible for ensuring supply and services support is provided to military, government civilian, and contractor personnel and coordination with various directors, special staff elements, and tenants at a complex multi-mission installation. Serves as the Chief, Supply and Services Division and Installation Supply Officer of the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC). Provides oversight and coordination of the installation's supply program capable of deploying and redeploying soldiers, civilians, and units anywhere in the world. Administers the supply and service programs, including such functions as inventory management, warehouse and storage management Administers the supply and service programs, including such functions as stock control requirements determination, receipt and issue of supplies, retail and bulk petroleum, oils and lubricants, and Hazardous Materials.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 Seret Security Clearance.
  • Temporary duty travel of 20% may be required.
  • This position is designated as Mission Essential.

Consideration will also be given to current Army employees with competitive status. Current Civilian Employees of the OrganizationCurrent Department of Army Civilian Employees In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Ensuring supply and services support is provided to military, government civilian, and contractor personnel; overseeing the procurement processes; and initiating or assigning special logistics studies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementLeadershipManages and Organizes InformationPlanning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
