Duties
You will accomplish effective installation, configuration, troubleshooting, operation and maintenance of various systems supporting data transport to and from the Range Control Center.
You will provide technical support for various range instrumentation systems to include: telemetry, GPS, Cryptographic, Time and Space Position Information (TSPI) equipment, digital/analog video conversion systems in support of range testing events.
You will communicate with range resource providers, test support personnel, and range customers to ensure successful execution of CL testing events.
You will operate a variety of commercial and government developed software for data reception and delivery.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9/10 grade level or DT-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Operating and maintaining command destruct/flight termination systems; 2) Exhibiting knowledge of video encoder/decoder systems; and 3) Demonstrating experience with microwave radio systems for transporting field video.
