You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant (Military/Information Systems) in the Distribution Operations Management Branch of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND.

Duties

You will advise agency leaders on human resources information systems solutions to solve data management problems. You will diagnose software problems in response to customer reported incidents. You will work with customers to resolve problems affecting human resources information systems You will analyze information systems to confirm information assurance (IA) security regulations are adhered to. You will perform audits of information technology (IT) system problem areas to formulate recommendations for corrective action.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Troubleshooting and/or resolving routine or complex customer issues with human resources (HR) systems; 2) Training HR system users on system capabilities and operation; 3) Managing HR information systems in accordance with applicable regulations; and 4) Evaluating system changes to accept or reject requests based on system priorities.
