You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY) in the Navy Project Office under the Business Operations Department as a part of My Navy Career Center
Duties
You will create personnel data reports to support office administration.
You will update customers on the status of requested information.
You will revise information from personnel records or files to maintain accuracy.
You will answer questions pertaining to Human Resources Policy. (e.g., pay, benefits, service computation dates).
You will recommend solutions to human resources- related issues.
You will review personnel documents or correspondence for grammar and spelling errors.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing office automation software to enter program related data into the appropriate tracking system; 2) Advising customers on matters regarding nonpayment of TRICARE claims, eligibility expirations in the DEERS (Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System) data base and general entitlements to benefits available through Navy ID card; 3) Assisting in the completion of applications for the Incapacitated Family Member Benefits Program (INAP); 4) Communicating with constituents, insurance carriers, navy activities, medical personnel, congressional representatives and other federal/ state agencies to resolve of disputed claims.
