Incumbent serves as a management or program analyst for an organizational entity of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). He/she provides analysis of assigned programs and management functions and identifies actual or potential problem areas, trends, accomplishments, issues and practices.
Duties
Incumbent plans and conducts a variety of program/management studies and analyses which involve one or a combination of the following general areas: program planning, execution and control (i.e., program/system planning and evaluation, program performance measurement); management improvement and control (i.e., quality management, organizational planning and development, staffing utilization, productivity, manpower requirements, work improvement and work methods, work measurement and staffing standards development, records/information management); and business management and control.

- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

- Security Requirement: Low Risk (1). This position requires completion and favorable adjudication of a background investigation prior to appointment.
- Temporary NTE 1 Year (can be terminated, extended or made permanent without further competition)
- Selections may be made for any team within planning and requirements group.
Qualifications
Specialized ExperienceTo qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level FV-F (FG/GS-9). Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized experience includes: Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in, analyzing programs and/or activities to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, recognize solutions, plan and organize work and
