Incumbent serves as a management or program analyst for an organizational entity of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). He/she provides analysis of assigned programs and management functions and identifies actual or potential problem areas, trends, accomplishments, issues and practices.

Duties

Incumbent plans and conducts a variety of program/management studies and analyses which involve one or a combination of the following general areas: program planning, execution and control (i.e., program/system planning and evaluation, program performance measurement); management improvement and control (i.e., quality management, organizational planning and development, staffing utilization, productivity, manpower requirements, work improvement and work methods, work measurement and staffing standards development, records/information management); and business management and control.

• Security Requirement: Low Risk (1). This position requires completion and favorable adjudication of a background investigation prior to appointment.

Qualifications

Specialized ExperienceTo qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level FV-F (FG/GS-9). Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
