You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Aviation Training and Standardization Department of CNATRA, Corpus Christi, TX.

Duties

You will provide the guidance and resources necessary to enable the command to train quality U.S. Military and selected military international aviation professionals. You will coordinate all developmental use of the Training Management System (TMS) corporate management system (and any future management systems) that directly supports the comprehensive Curriculum Support System for all subordinate commands. You will manage the development and deployment of the corporate TMS to ensure it is responsive, reliable, effective, and efficient in providing acceptable business data to meet the demands of a complex military aviation training organization. You will provide the functional expertise to address user operational issues relative to training, as they pertain to the TMS software change proposals, testing, system interfaces, and other related issues. You will collect, consolidate and track proposed TMS software changes submitted by system users. You will maintain a prioritized Master List (ML) of submitted TMS System Trouble Reports, disseminate change proposals for review by each training site TMS Functional Administrator, and compile feedback reports. You will plan and coordinate data migration requirements for all data migrations to new TMS version releases. You will ensure current TMS shortcomings are identified and mitigated appropriately in future versions of TMS. You will manage the training strategy for TMS initial user training and follow-on user training at each subordinate command. You will prepare and submit input regarding contractor’s performance utilizing Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System to create and measure the quality and timely reporting of performance information.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to address operational issues pertaining to a Training Management System to ensure efficiency in providing acceptable business data to meet organizational demands.
