You will serve as a Supervisory Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Property Management Department of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Logistics Center (NSLC), Keyport Division, Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Mechanicsburg, PA (NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA) in Crane, Indiana.

Duties

You will manage projects and provide both technical and administrative guidance and advice to subordinate employees/contractors who are engaged in a variety of unit assignments or tasking. You will manage and maintain inventories, assess operations and conduct inspections/audits to assure visibility and accountability of Operating Materials and Supplies (OM and S). You will engage sponsors and customers to address changes in requirements and technological/operational developments/process improvements. You will interpret policy, directives and operational procedures; tailor for local application, as allowed; participate in the development of higher level guidance; and prepare local procedural/administrative guidance. You will facilitate and support executive level decision making, develop new supply support strategies, and solve major conflicts in policy and procedures. You will utilize Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) Inventory and Warehouse management functionality.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading the evaluation and implementation of guidance to ensure optimization for an operating materials and supplies warehouse or analyzing warehouse management operations and performing supply administrative functions to ensure accountability of an organization's assets.
