You will serve as a Maintenance Supervisor I in the Production Division of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will supervise subordinate workers performing Facilities Electrical maintenance, repair, and construction services. You will plan work schedules to balance resources (personnel and equipment) and accomplish tasking on schedule. You will provide technical guidance and/or recommendations to ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient execution of work. You will develop metrics to monitor productivity and propose changes to improve efficiency. You will recommend new methods or equipment for expediting and improving work execution.

• May be designated as ALPHA/ Essential personnel and required to report for duty or held in a duty status to provide support before, during and after special emergency situations, destructive weather, disasters or increased security threat.

I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
