Salary: $43 - 50 per hour

You will serve as a MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR I in the PRODUCTION DIVISION of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will supervise facility maintenance support. You will provide technical and administrative supervision and direction for accomplishment of work in assigned section. You will assign work to individuals and provide technical direction. You will review completed work through periodic spot checks for quality and quantity.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • This position may become a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Coordinate all resources including sub-contracts, materials, tools, and interdepartmental labor requirements to enhance work efficiency and complete workload. 2) Attend meetings concerning requirements, specifications and technical matters relating to assigned work, develop metrics to determine and implement process change initiatives, identify performance issues and improve productivity and 3) Apply EEO policies and communicating support of policies to subordinates.
