You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINSITRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the U.S. Fleet Forces Command Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) and Tactical Training Range (TTR) Programs,Commander Pacific Fleet TTR Program of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.

Duties

You will be responsible for the execution of the NCTE program's day to day tasks and ensures the delivery of quality products on time and within budget. You will establish objectives, sets priorities, uses internal controls, goal setting techniques, delegation, and team building to effectively manage the branch. You will provide oversight and day to day management of activities associated with NCTE contract management, finance management, quality management, metric development, logistics and property management. You will evaluate performance and provides appropriate feedback including recognizing superior performance. Encourages innovation and personal growth among branch personnel.   • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating military or warfare training program operations to develop management plans or strategies, lead or mentor personnel, and improve administrative processes for a warfare organization.
